Welcome to my website! I'm Myrna CG Mibus, a writer based in Northfield, Minnesota.

Though I've written about topics ranging from aviation to afternoon tea, most of my work now is focused on writing about family, motherhood, and life.

I'm a bicyclist, amateur baker, private pilot, and mom of two young adults. After raising our kids out in the country on a residential airport (yes, we had a runway in our backyard), my husband, Owen, and I recently downsized and moved to the town of Northfield with our Border Terrier, Rocket. In addition to being a writer, I also work part-time as a bookseller at a wonderful indie bookshop, Content Bookstore, in the heart of Northfield.

Submitting My Essays – Keeping the Butterflies in Check

At the beginning of 2021, I set a goal to submit my essays to publications in hopes of having them published. I’ve had essays published before and have had dozens of articles published as well so it’s not like I’m new to submitting or to being published but I haven’t been writing much for several…
